Centre for Immigrant and Community Services (CICS) provides free one-on-one settlement services to support newcomers in settling and integrating into the community. Our Settlement Workers can provide information, guidance, referrals, and assistance with applications and forms. Areas of support include:
- Citizenship
- Government services and benefits
- Housing
- Employment
- Education, language, and training
- Healthcare
- Finance and tax
- Community resources, referrals and more
Priority is given to Permanent Residents and Convention Refugees. Languages available: English, Farsi, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Services are available by appointment on Tuesdays (English & Chinese) and Wednesdays (English & Farsi).
