Visiting Library Service

For Newmarket residents unable to leave their homes due to disability, the library's Visiting Library Service is a way to continue accessing our collection.

Community volunteers select, pick up and deliver books, magazines or movies to homebound client's. The volunteers also collect library items from the client's home and return them to the library.

There is a Visiting Library Service application process for both volunteers and clients.  Volunteers must be 18 years or older, have a valid driver's license and obtain a Vulnerable Sector Screening.
