Wi-Fi@NPL |
| Access the library's free Wi-Fi network by connecting to Wi-Fi@NPL on your device or computer. No password required. You must comply with our Public Computer Access and Use Policy. |
Printing, scanning and photocopying |
Current printing fees are:
Self-serve machines print, scan and photocopy documents. These are available on the main floor and lower level. You can do wireless printing from your phone, tablet or laptop to these printers by connecting to the Library's Wi-Fi. You can also scan and e-mail your documents. The only machine that takes coins is on the main floor. Instructions are posted at the printer, or you can ask a staff member for assistance. Both machines are equipped to print from computer workstations or photocopy using money loaded to your library card. See staff on each floor's service desk to add money to your card. Scanners to digitize documents are available on the accessible computer workstation and three are available on Adult Services computers on the lower level. |
Laptops / Hot Spots for borrowing |
| You can borrow a laptop or internet hotspot and take it outside the library for one week. Get these devices on the Main Floor at Customer Service. You will need:
Laptops include Microsoft Office and can be used to access the Internet on any Wi-Fi network. They may be used for printing to the library's printers while in the library. Funding for the laptops has been provided by the Government of Ontario. |
