Book Clubs at the Library

Ask about joining our book clubs

We maintain a waiting list for clubs that are full.

Dark Evenings Mystery Club

Our Dark Evenings Mystery Club selects great books for mystery fans that will see you through the long, dark nights ahead. All are available through the library's online service or in print. This seasonal club meets the second Thursday of the month from September to June.

Afternoon Book Club

The Afternoon Book Club offers the choice of fiction and non-fiction reads. We've chosen some intriguing titles that you're sure to enjoy. Club meetings are the second Tuesday of the month on Zoom.  Recent titles include Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus, Empire of Pain by Patrick Radden Keefe and Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin.

Copies of the books will be available for pick-up approximately one month before club meeting dates.

Book Club 1

This club meetings the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. The club is currently at capacity.

Book Club 2

This club meets the second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. on Zoom. The club is currently at capacity.

Book Club 3

This club meets the first Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. This club is currently at capacity.

Advanced Readers Book Club

The Advanced Readers Book Club is for children aged eight to twelve years old who are interested in reading challenging books like "The Secret Garden" by Frances Hodgson Burnett, or "Swindle" by Gordon Korman. Everyone reads the same book and we meet to discuss and do activities based on the book's theme. Meetings are once a month on Thursdays 6:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.

This is a popular program, so please contact us if interested in joining the Advanced Readers Book Club.
