Library Services During COVID-19
The library is open for limited services that align with the goals of Ontario's COVID-19 Response Framework. The library continually monitors the provincial and local regulations to ensure that our services meet or exceed the current requirements.
Hours of Operation
The library is currently open for limited services on the following days and times:
- Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.
- Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Mandatory Health & Safety Precautions
The following precautions are in effect for all visitors:
- Self screen using the York Region COVID-19 self-assessment. If you answer Yes to any of the questions, please do not visit the library
- Wear a face mask or face covering
- Sanitize your hands at our entrance
- Keep physical distance of at least 6 feet
- Stay behind plexiglass barriers when speaking to staff

At the Door Holds Pick-up
Pick up your holds at the front door of the library. Please have your card ready and staff will retrieve your holds. If you don't know how to place a hold, try watching this video on how to place requests.
Library Memberships
You can apply for a library membership or renew your library membership online. Your new card number will be emailed to you and the physical card will be mailed to the address you provide.
3D Printing Service
Although our MakerHub is currently closed, we can still 3D-print small objects for you. For more information please visit our 3D Printing Submission Form.
Returning Items
Please return your items using the return slot outside of the library, located to the right of our main entrance doors. Laptop computers and Book Club kits should be returned at the curbside pickup door.

- We can offer suggestions on what you should read next.
- Investigate your family history with Ancestry Library Edition, now available (from home) until June 30, 2021. Log into your library account with your barcode and PIN. Once logged in, look to the menu on the right for access to Ancestry Library Edition.
