Students heading back to class can get help with their studies through the Library’s Brainfuse HelpNow, connecting with tutors online who provide assistance with homework, skills building and test preparation. Pre-school children with caregivers will have a great time in the interactive programs Family Storytime, Parent-Child Mother Goose and Music and Movement. For those interested in hands-on creativity, Maker Hub programs will show you how to use 3D printing software to enhance your prints, and how to create wonderful designs on cardstock with a Cricut Maker. Plus, a bicycle repair program with Newmarket Cycles, the return of our Online Cookbook Club, Dark Evenings Mystery Book Club, the YA Pride Club, and more!

A group experience for you and your baby. This 10-week program focuses on the pleasure and power of using rhymes, songs and stories together. Stencil Art Workshop
Stencil art is a form of visual art where an image or design is placed on a canvas then paint is used over the stencil creating colourful images. Using acrylic paint and stencils, participants will create their own special work of art.

Chess in the Library – Drop-in
Love playing chess? Or maybe you are new to the game. Join us on Saturdays for the opportunity to play a challenging game with your peers or learn how to play from a volunteer. This program is part of the Chess in the Library organization whose mission is to promote chess across Canada through its student volunteer run program.
