Reading Buddies
Tutors will be interviewed, trained and matched with a child.  Tutors will also be screened through a police check.  The program will be monitored by the Head of Children's Services.  This is a great opportunity for committed teens who are intersted in contributing to the development of a child to fulfill their community service hours.  Volunteers must be willing to commit to the full ten weeks.

Teens or interested adults who wish to volunteer as Reading Buddies can pick up an application form at the Children's Services Information Desk or call 905-953-5110 for more information.

The next program start date is expected to begin in January.  Opportunities are limited so we regret that we may not be able to fill all applications.  This is an ongoing program so we are always looking for interested buddies and tutors.
