Cathy Gifford
Burt Offerings Studio
Cathy has been teaching pottery and other fine arts classes at libraries, schools, community centres and daycare centres for over 20 years. Shortly after purchasing her first kiln, Cathy's passion quickly evolved into a full-time business and Burnt Offerings Studio was born.
Over the years, Cathy's expertise has grown to include over 10 years experience as a Montessori educator. She also has extensive experience using
clay as an expressive medium for children with emotional, social and developmental challenges.
Cathy tailors each program specifically to the child's needs and helps them to develop skills such as self-esteem, fine and gross motor skills, while having fun. Kids create and bring home projects they are proud of.
Burnt Offerings Studio continues to offer workshops and classes throughout York Region and Simcoe County .
