Our Community Information and Volunteer Centre offers you information and resources about your community and volunteer opportunities. We are passionately committed to building strong communities and are dedicated to meet community and individual needs.

We provide reliable information about organizations, services, clubs, and events throughout York Region.
There are several ways to obtain the information you are looking for:
- in-person at our location, by telephone, or by e-mail
- on-line, through our York Info Community Information & Volunteer Database
- by a multitude of printed material, including brochures and information guides that are available at our location
- and through our online community events listings
becoming a volunteer
If you are interested in volunteering, we can assist you in your search. We provide:
- on-line access to volunteer opportunities throughout York Region
- a personal volunteer matching service
for non-profits
We provide the following information and resources for your not-for-profit organization:
- assistance with recruiting volunteers and promoting volunteerism
- training, workshops, volunteer fair and networking events
- resources on not-for-profit organizations’ management, fundraising, volunteer management, board members and more
- your organization’s record in our database
